If you’re wondering what to do after the Black Ops 7 open beta is over, Activision has a free trial for you to experience the full campaign of its game for the first time.
It’s none other than their ongoing title, Black Ops 6, that will have a free trial period from Oct. 9 to 16, and it contains full access to the entire game, including the campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies. The week-long trial will give you enough time to complete the campaign, and probably, have more than one playthrough of the story.
The campaign is roughly nine hours long, so if you sit down during the weekend and play it at a stretch, you will complete the main story, of course, excluding the extras. Completionists will need to chip in over 35 hours to earn all the achievements.

While the campaign is a bonus, you also get to enjoy “The Haunting” event in BO6 that includes a new Rig map, the Halloween variant of Nuketown, Slasher Deathmatch mode for multiplayer, and the limited-time mode for Zombies, Haunted Havoc. Apart from that, you also get access to the existing pool of content for both multiplayer and Zombies.
The free trial will surely see a rise in player count, arriving right when Battlefield 6 releases. So, the new title from Electronic Arts also got a slight competition to counter during its launch.
So, if you are already going all in during the Black Ops 7 open beta, you will still get a chance to enjoy the multiplayer action longer, albeit in the previous title. This is an excellent opportunity for those who have yet to play BO6, so it’s one of the best times to hop into the free trial.
The free trial starts at 11am CT on Oct. 9 and ends Oct. 16 at 12am CT.
