A great secondary option for BR.

The Dresden 9mm is a new SMG introduced with the season six update in BO6 and Warzone. It’s quite easy to control and has become one of the top choices for BR shortly after its release.

Warzone just got spookier with The Haunting update in season six. We have night variants of Verdansk and Rebirth Island, along with the return of Zombie Royale and the introduction of a new mode called Casual Z featuring AI zombies.

Visibility during this time will naturally be less than usual, meaning most gunfights will happen in close range. This is where the SMG would shine, and with that said, here’s the best Dresden 9mm loadout in Warzone with the right attachments, perks, and equipment.

How to unlock Dresden 9mm in Warzone

You can unlock the Dresden 9mm SMG from Page 3 of the season six battle pass. It returned to the game after last appearing in Call of Duty: Vanguard. It has 33 levels to level up to, and comes with a 32-bullet magazine size.

Starting with the muzzle, I recommend using the Suppressor as it will hide your position on opponent’s mini-map while also reducing the firing sound of the SMG. The Long Barrel improves long-range combat effectiveness by increasing the damage range, while the Ergonomic Grip increases shooting speeds while aiming, diving, sliding, and jumping.

The Extended Mag II holds 64 bullets in total (32 more than the default), and comes in handy for BR, where enemies wear armor and it takes longer to knock them down.

Lastly, I have chosen the No Stock option for stock to significantly increase the moving speed while aiming, walking, strafing, and sprinting.

  • Secondary: Personal preference
  • Melee: Personal preference
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Perk 1: Survivor
  • Perk 2: Tracker
  • Perk 3: Birdseye
  • Wildcard: Overkill

Choose secondary as per your gameplay style (could be an AR or Sniper). To do that, you have to select the Overkill Wildcard.

Smoke and Frag Grenades will allow you to take cover and deal additional damage to enemies hiding in a building or in a corner. Coming to the perks, go for Survivor (regenerates health faster, revives faster), Tracker (to see enemy footsteps and bullets fired briefly outlines enemies for you and teammates), and Birdseye (larger UAVs when you call them).
