Why cant these games make titles indepent of stardew valley. This one is starsand valley... There's another called sugardew valley. Games are just taking part of stardews name and making it their own.

Fereldan and Orlais were literally destroyed beyond a few struggling survivors. The entire way the blight and darkspawn functioned was reworked and changed completely. Much of the lore was abandoned or heavily altered. The only way to "maybe" fix things is to do what all other franchises do when they mess up the timelines. Either they bring in time travel or the multiverse... Veilgaurd really set dragon age on fire and burnt it to the ground. I doubt any Phoenix will rise out of it after all that.

Yes there are MANY reasons that there is dislike and there are MANY valid criticism of the game such as redundant combat, poor writing, not staying in line with the games lore, no immersion as a fantasy game and instead transporting you to modern day safe talk you'd engage in at work. The HR level of sterilization. The utter lack of options to role play beyond goodie two shoes. The fact none of your decisions ever did or ever will make an impact on the story. The fact that the game literally wipes out thedas so by canon you can't make new games unless you do some crazy dumb stuff. The fact the game was made for mmorpg state and not single player. The horrid decision to cater to the 9 second attention spans and why there are so many neon colors, sparkles and distracting crap. The horrid story progression. I absolutely can't believe you are so blind to acknowledge there are true issues with the game.. I'm suspecting you're a bot account.

Is anyone actually going to state obvious near game breaking issues with this game? Every new rpg shouldn't be banking on free beta testers to get thier sht together. 1. All the NPCs are dead weight and you can even watch several (ones at tables) react and animate in synch. 2. Environmental interaction is nonexistent. 3. You can do thief stuff or roleplay or... Anything really. 4. Why again with the hardcore handholding. Are some of you really that gluttonous for humiliation or something? You do know they are insulting your intelligence... 5. Again using so much modern terminology that it just feels like you're larping learning. 6. The story is so convoluted with key words being repeated icer and over and over.... I have ears and I can remember things past 60 secs...

The gaming industry is falling in line with every other industry... Filled with young adults who grew up on instant gratification and thriving on external attention and validation. Everyone wants to be seen and heard and so they literally all talking over each other trying to inject what they "think" will appeal to the consumer. Too many cooks in the kitchen set up or just a flat out dictatorship.

See the leaked situations from bioware and ubisoft and now obsidian... How hard is it to just treat your employees right and base off merit, skills and experience for positions?

The comment saying the decision to save Treviso and not minrtahous just because of the perceived notion that Treviso couldn't defend itself is literally a massive delusion and making either choice gives you practically the exact same results. Just a different companion won't be as nice to you. Just like every other decision there is no impact, no variability, no real consequence, no substance. I've read better choice outcomes in a choose your own adventure book from the 80s than what this game brought to the table.

I doubt EA would allow Bioware to even bother making the new mass effect. All the talent quit, and those left behind are being pushed out or fleeing before the studio is shut down. Edmonton is fighting to not be wiped in February, doubt they will survive after the dragon age debacle.

None of them. Seeing that every faction was turned into care bears by abandoning everything that made them who they are. They stripped each faction of its identity and absolutely was not "true to form". If you can't handle the dark and gritty aspects and topics that dragon age once tackled maybe you should play animal crossing. Getting tired of games being ruined because selfish people believe that they are entitled to play everything and scream for devs to cater to them so they feel "included".

Well majority of us were not "included" by sterilizing the game and making it a personal political battering ram. They said "then don't play it". Well... We didn't and now it's a sinking ship so bad the studio lost all talent, with those left behind being forced out due to the failure. Now the studio, like others who followed this path, will be shut down next month.

Wish there was a way to shrink them. Some pals are so big that the base looks like a cyclone of colors and it's hard to find your stuff/buildings. That's not including alpha/lucky pals. Plus it effects their pathing.

What can we expect from bIoware in 2025... Them closing their doors. I don't have high hopes that they will even be around to make the new mass effect. So many have left and it's just a shell of itself more full of self centered activists than people with actual talent. If they do squeak out mass effect 5 it will most likely fill the same void as veilguard did... And fail.

By the lore griffins are extinct and this game did a terrible terrible job with the storyline when they just slapped them back into the world with little to no real explanation past a cheap.. Oh well this guy just was stealing them. There was a massive missed opportunity to have written an amazing story with several quests that could have brought them back from the dead in a dragon age lore friendly way..but no.. Lore no longer matters. Story no longer matters. Just button mashing and particle effects mixed in amongst the seizure inducing color saturation.

After seeing all the extended gameplay I've only become more and more disappointed in this game. They hyper fixation on sexual themes, romance and... Other ideologies... Only reinforces my distrust. So far the voice acting is extremely dull and lackluster with zero body expression to match the feel of the situation. The characters are depicted as very bland with confusing personalities types poorly coming through. The writing is also very poor with contant reiterating of the same things as if we are too stupid to follow the story line. Example is them talking about the ritual 500 times and repeating the word so much I wanted to chuck the remote down the hall. This game was hastily pushed with bad intentions that focus on anything but being a game. Sorry to say but dragon age is dead now.

Also why are they only representing this way? Where are our wheelchair characters? Amputee options, blind options? Are the devs abelist? What about cancer scars? C section scars? I mean there's cellulite option. Or is it that they are aiming at the two controversial political trends ongoing which is trans and fat acceptance? If you are going to represent them why not the rest? It's proof it's pushing an ideology and screaming for attention and not truly "progressive".

To the two supporting the DEI as being inclusive and not agenda.... How about this. Why is there a need for surgery scars in a world that has magic. Brining reality more into a fantasy world takes away the fantasy. And no we can't make our rook how we want them. They show that you can't make curvy women, or buff men. Every character is heavily androgynous. Also if your female to male trans why not just make a male character? Gender and sex are different arnt they? Then why do you need to change your sex to affirm your gender. Just make a character that you identify as without the injection of politics.
