Worlds 2025 is officially underway, and the developers have already started to plan changes for the next patch.
Patch 25.21 won’t be a League patch that pro players will play in the ongoing international event in China, but it is still relevant for competitive players looking to raise their rank before the season ends.

When does LoL Patch 25.21 release?

League updates are released on Wednesdays, and this schedule remains consistent for every upcoming patch. The updates come to the PBE servers with new features, skins, and adjustments, before being released on the live servers.. The next update is scheduled for Oct. 22. While the official release times across all regions are yet to be confirmed, the expected release windows are as follows:
- 3pm CT (NA)
- 5am GMT (EU West)
- 3am CET (EU North East)
- 8am KR (Korea)
What’s in Patch 25.21?

Patch 25.21 brings three new skins: Beeko, Prestige Eternal Aspect Zoe, and Mecha Kingdoms Skarner. It also comes with buffs, nerfs, and adjustments for champions to balance the meta and changes to early game items, such as Doran’s Ring and Blade.
Champion buffs
The following champions are receiving buffs in League Patch 25.21:
Bard
[W] Caretaker’s Shrine
- Heal AP ratio has been increased from 30-40 to 40-70 percent.
- Movement speed AP ratio has been increased from 5 to 6 percent.
Ezreal
AD Growth has been increased from 2.75 to 3.25.
Kalista
AD Growth has been increased from 4.25 to 4.75.
Yone
Base AD has been increased from 60 to 62.
Yunara
[W] Arc of Judgment
- Hit Damage has been increased from 5-105 to 85 percent total AD to 55-215 + 85 percent bonus AD.
- Damage per second has been increased from 5-65 + 40 percent total AD to 33-129 + 51 percent bonus AD.
[E] Kanmei’s Steps: Movement speed no longer decays.
[E and R-E] Kanmei’s Steps and Untouchable Shadow: Cooldown has been increased from 7.5 to 9.
[R-W] Arc of Ruin: Damage has been changed from 50/200/350 + 175 percent total AD to 175/350/525 + 150 percent bonus AD.
Bugfix: E now loses its enhanced movement speed when turning away from enemy champions.
Champion nerfs
The following champions are receiving nerfs in League Patch 25.21:
Diana
[P] Moonsilver Blade: Monster Damage has been decreased 300 to 280 percent.
Kog’Maw
[Q] Caustic Spittle: Passive attack speed has been decreased from 10-30 percent to 5-25 percent.
Morgana
Armor growth has been decreased from 5 to 4.2.
Qiyana
- Health growth has been decreased from 124 to 121.
[Q] Edge of Ixtal: Damage has been reduced from 70-190 (90 percent bonus AD) to 70-190 (85 percent bonus AD).
Quinn
[Q] Blinding Assault: Bonus AD ratio has been decreased from 8-120 percent to 80-100 percent.
[R] Behind Enemy Lines: Damage has been decreased from 70 percent total AD to 60/90/120 (85 percent bonus AD).
Champion adjustments
The following champions are receiving nerfs in League Patch 25.21:
Dr. Mundo
- Armor growth has been increased from 3.7 to 4.5.
[E] Blunt Force Trauma: Active bonus HP ratio has been decreased from 7 to 5 percent.
Graves
- Base magic resist has been reduced from 32-66.85 to 30-52.1.
[E] Quickdraw: Active magic resist per stack has been changed from zero to 50 percent of armor 2-8 (maximum 16-64).
Gwen
Reverted to the 25.05 version of the champion without the armor growth and passive monster damage, which remain the same.
Skarner

System nerfs
Here is a look at all the system nerfs for items in this patch:
Catalyst of Aeons
Health has decreased from 350 to 300.
Second Wind
Healing after taking damage has been decreased from 4 percent missing health + 3 to 4 percent missing health.
Doran’s Shield
Max healing after taking damage has been decreased to 45 (melee) or 30 (ranged) to 40 (melee) or 30 (ranged).
System adjustments
Here is a look at all the system adjustments in this patch:
Doran’s Blade
- Life steal has been removed.
- New passive: Heal for 2.5 percent of damage dealt (reduced to 33 percent of this value for area of effect spells and pet spells).
Doran’s Ring
- Mana regeneration has been changed from 1.25 per second to one per second, increased to two per second for five seconds after damaging an enemy champion.
- Health regeneration has been changed from 0.55 per second to 45 percent of this value.
