The Houdini ribbon in BitLife is one of the toughest you can achieve, and if you manage it, you will be the envy of the prison yard. Here is everything you need to know about how to get the Houdini ribbon in BitLife.
How to achieve the Houdini ribbon in BitLife
Houdini was a master escape artist of the 20th century, and your job in BitLife is to emulate his talents by becoming a sneaky criminal who can escape prison 10 separate times. Escaping prison is as difficult as you can imagine, as the guards are on high alert and will catch you if you make the wrong move.

Start off your criminal life by increasing your Karma stats to 100%, so you should have a bit more luck in escaping.
The trick with this challenge is to make sure you go to prison for a nonviolent crime and are sent to a minimum-security prison. This will give you a better chance of escape. To avoid getting the Robber ribbon, don’t rob people or banks, and don’t become a burglar.

The easiest way to escape prison is to steal a guard’s uniform. This hides your identity and makes it so you don’t have to worry about doing the maze escape properly. If you don’t get the option to steal a uniform, reset the game and reload until you do. Watch the ad and escape with the uniform. If you do this ten times, you will get the Houdini ribbon.

Don’t do anything else significant in your life, as this can skew the results and give you a different ribbon altogether. Make sure you escape quickly, and don’t end up in prison for many years—just enough to escape 10 times.
- You get the Jailbird ribbon if you spend most of your life in prison.
- Surrendering gets you the Wasteful ribbon.

This is how we managed it:
- Steal a car
- Get caught
- Escape prison
- Emigrate illegally
- Get caught
- Escape prison
- Repeat until you have escaped ten times.
Next up, try out something more wholesome by joining the Science Club or becoming a baseball player in BitLife.
