The Zombie Land Saga anime film, first announced in October 2021, is finally going to be released later this year. A brand-new trailer released this past Friday revealed the October 24 premiere date of Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise (Zombie Land Saga: Dream Galactic Paradise). The film is being produced by staff at MAPPA, the studio famous for titles like Yuri!!! On ICE, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan: The Final Season and Shinichiro Watanabe's latest offering, Lazarus.
To truly emphasize the idea that the saga has finally reached outer space, "Also Sprach Zarathustra", the iconic theme of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, is used as the main theme in the new Dream Galactic Paradise trailer. As mentioned previously, the upcoming Zombie Land Saga anime movie is set to premiere on October 24, 2025.

Production Information of Dream Galactic Paradise
For the uninitiated, Zombie Land Saga follows Sakura Minamoto, a girl who dreams of becoming an idol but has her dreams dashed when she is hit by a truck and dies an untimely death. Rather than getting "isekai'd", Minamoto awakens as a zombie, finding herself in the company of several zombified girls like herself, and Kōtarō Tatsumi, the man who has gathered them from different eras in Japanese history to create a zombie idol group. Zombie Land Saga: Dream Galactic Paradise is being produced by staff at MAPPA, with Takafumi Ishida (CG, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc - Memorial Edition) and Takeru Satō (storyboards, Yasuke), episode directors on the Zombie Land Saga TV anime, serve as directors; with Kōnosuke Uda (director, Lovely Complex) as chief director, while Shigeru Murakoshi (series composition, Apocalypse Hotel) writes the scripts.
The animation directors of the TV anime, Fumihide Sai and Jinshichi Yamaguchi (chief animation director, Attack on Titan: The Final Season), serve as character designers alongside Kasumi Fukagawa (key animation, Persona 4: The Animation), who had the same role on both seasons of the Zombie Land Saga series. Fairy Tail soundtrack composer, Yasunaru Takahashi, is behind the music, while Yuriko Waki returns as an animation producer. The cast from the main series will return to reprise their roles, including:

Zombie Land Saga is a project by MAPPA, in collaboration with Cygames and Avex Pictures, and the first season of this original anime premiered in October 2018, with Crunchyroll streaming the series as it aired. The second season, titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge, premiered in April 2024. Crunchyroll also streamed an English dub for both seasons.
Zombie Land Saga is available to stream on Crunchyroll. The Dream Galactic Paradise film is set to premiere in Japanese theatres on October 24. Tickets will be avaialble to purchase starting in May.
