Yixuan takes the role of a teacher for the Phaethon siblings in Zenless Zone Zero. During the prologue of chapter 1, they find that their ability goes beyond synchronizing with a Bangboo to enter the Hollows. With a little modification, the "gift" left by their teachers somehow manages to increase their Ether aptitude, allowing them to enter the Hollows themselves without getting corrupted.

In chapter 2, Yixuan teaches the Phaethon siblings how to manipulate Ether energy so that they can explore the Hollow more easily. This job is trivial for Yixuan as she's known to have incredible strength. While she's not officially recognized like Miyabi, her power is comparable to the Void Hunter. However, for the Shifu to reach her ultimate power, players must know how to build Yixuan in ZZZ.

The best Drive Disc for Yixuan in Zenless Zone Zero is 4pc Yunkui Tales. When she uses EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate, she gains a 4% Crit Rate, stacking up to three times. When three stacks are active, Yixuan additionally obtains 10% Sheer DMG. For the 2pc set, players can opt for either a Critical Rate (Woodpecker Electro) or a Critical DMG bonus (Branch & Blade Song). Choose according to Yixuan's needs, or whichever Drive Discs have better stats.

As a Rupture Agent, Yixuan attacks are considered Sheer DMG and use Sheer Force as the DMG multiplier. For every 1 max HP, Yixuan gains 0.1 Sheer Force, meaning Yixuan should use HP as her Drive Disc main stat. Since the 4-slot is best occupied by a Critical stat, she can use the HP main stat on her 5-slot or 6-slot.
