Best Lighter W-Engines In ZZZ

Stun characters in Zenless Zone Zero are the ones responsible for incapacitating enemies by filling up their Daze bar. All Agents in ZZZ can build up Daze and stun enemies, but they're not as efficient as those with the Stun specialty. One of the many Stun characters in ZZZ is Lighter from the Sons of Calydon.

Lighter heavily depends on his Impact stats to deal Daze DMG and increase his team’s Ice and Fire DMG. For that, a W-Engine that gives him a lot of these stats is a great choice for him.

7 Steam Oven

W5 Effect	For every 10 Energy accumulated, the equipper's Impact is increased by 3.2%, stacking up to 8 times. After Energy is consumed, this bonus remains for 8 more seconds. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Although Lighter loses his Impact Sub-stat to gain a lot of Energy Regen, he still gets more than 24% Impact from Steam Oven’s passive, which is more than the other 4-star options on this list. However, gathering Impact over time isn’t practical for Lighter’s gameplay. So, it’s better to go for better W-Engines.

6 Six Shooter

W5 Effect	The equipper gains 1 Charge stack every 3s, stacking up to 6 times. When launching an EX Special Attack, consumes all Charge stacks and each stack consumed increases the skill's Daze inflicted by 6.4%.

Six Shooter isn’t the best choice for Lighter, but it still manages to help with his gameplay as it grants him enough buffs to decrease his field time. The faster Lighter Stun enemies, the faster he’ll leave the field for the next character to take advantage of the situation.

5 Precious Fossilized Core

Advanced Stat	15% Impact
W5 Effect	When the target's HP is no lower than 50%, the equipper inflicts 16% more Daze. When the target's HP is no lower than 75%, this bonus is further enhanced by 16%.

Precious Fossilized Core can only increase Lighter’s Impact by 15%, stat-wise. However, the W-Engine grants Lighter the ability to quickly stun enemies when their HP is still high. As a 4-star W-Engine for Lighter, it’s still a decent choice and can work with his kit, since better Daze means more chances to Stun enemies and increases the DMG they take.

4 The Restrained

Effect	When an attack hits an enemy, DMG and Daze from Basic Attacks increase by 6% for 8s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect can trigger at most once during each skill. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

While the Restrained doesn’t give a lot of Impact, like the next Lighter’s W-Engines in Zenless Zone Zero, it is still a decent option because of its 18% Impact Sub-stat. As a 5-star W-Engine, Lighter can benefit from its high stats and use it as a stat stick.

3 Hellfire Gears

While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/s.

When using an EX Special Attack, the equipper's Impact is increased by 10% for 10s, stacking up to 2 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Hellfire Gears is a decent option for Lighter since it grants him around 38% Impact. Lighter has to use his EX Special Attack to get some of the extra Impact, which requires energy to do. Lighter can get this Energy from Hellfire Gears’ passive that continuously increases Lighter’s Energy Regen while he’s off-field.

2 Ice-Jade Teapot

Effect	When a Basic Attack hits an enemy, gain 1 stack of Tea-riffic. Each stack of Tea-riffic increases the user's Impact by 0.7%, stacking up to 30 times, and lasting for 8s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Upon acquiring Tea-riffic, if the equipper possesses stacks of Tea-riffic greater than or equal to 15, all squad members' DMG is increased by 20% for 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Qingyi’s best W-Engine in Zenless Zone Zero works perfectly with Lighter since it grants him an insane amount of Impact. It also possesses a Supportive ability to increase the team’s DMG, which is what Lighter can do with his kit. Ice-Jade Teapot is an excellent W-Engine for Lighter in Zenless Zone Zero.

1 Blazing Laurel

Effect	Upon launching a Quick Assist or Perfect Assist, the equipper's Impact increases by 25% for 8s. When the equipper launches and hits an enemy with a Basic Attack, apply Wilt to the target for 30s, stacking up to 20 times, repeated triggers reset the duration. When any squad member hits an enemy, for every stack of Wilt applied to the target, the CRIT DMG of the Ice DMG and Fire DMG dealt by that attack increases by 1.5%. Only one of this effect can be active at a time in the same squad.

Blazing Laurel is, unsurprisingly, Lighter’s best-in-slot W-Engine in Zenless Zone Zero. As his Signature weapon, Blazing Laurel also stacks Wilt to enemies hit by Lighter, and after an ally hits them, they’ll get their Crit DMG increased. Blazing Laurel is a Supportive W-Engine for Lighter, without sacrificing his role as a Stun in Zenless Zone Zero.
