How to Get Free Polychromes

If you're low on budget, there are plenty of ways through which you can get Polychromes without spending any extra money. Below you will find more details on how to get free Polychromes:

Fill Out the Max Engagement Bar

Filling out the Engagement bar by completing daily errands is the most straightforward way of earning Polychromes. These tasks are fairly easy, like buying a coffee and Logging into the Game, and reward you with 60 Polychromes along with Inter-Knot Credits.

Do not forget to claim your rewards, as they require manual claiming. You can access the Errands Tab by pressing F2 during your gameplay. Here, you'll be able to see various tasks along with their progress.

These tasks are time-sensitive and refresh after a few hours.

Increase Your Inter-Knot Level

You can level up the Inter-Knot Level to claim many valuable rewards, including Polychromes, Denny, and Ether Batteries. You can claim these rewards by accessing the Inter-Knot Level tab from the main menu. Here are some ways of increasing the Inter-Knot level in Zenless Zone Zero:

Hollow Zero

Zenless Zone Zero features various commissions (Story, Combat, Exploration, Rally) that reward Polychromes once they are completed. You can find these tasks by talking to NPCs, or reading your DMs.

Events

Within the game, you will find many time-sensitive events that are released periodically and offer you tons of rewards on completion. Wait for these events, and participate in them to get a chance to earn more rewards.

VR Training

You will find the VR device in the Random Play Shop once you have progressed through the first chapter of the main story. Once unlocked, you can interact with the device to access VR training mode.

In this mode, you will find various Agent Cooperation exercises and combat tutorials. Engaging in these exercises will not only help you improve your combat skills, but each challenge also rewards Polychromes along with other items.

Arcade Mode

Arcade mode features a series of exciting mini-games that offer numerous rewards. For instance, you can participate in New Eridu’s Gold Finger to earn Polychromes. Besides these mini-games, there are also occasional limited-time events where you can participate for extra rewards.

Proxy Handbook

Within the Random Play Store, you will also find a Workbench through which you can access the Proxy Handbook. This handbook contains a list of all the tutorials within the game. Look for those tutorials marked with "New" and read them completely to earn free Polychromes.

Commission Log

You can locate the Commission Log near the TV at the Random Play Store. Access the Commission Log to claim Polychrome rewards. Keep in mind that you can only obtain these rewards once you have found the perfect video footage in Commissions.

Character Demos

Whenever there is a banner rotation, Character Demos will be available. Simply participating and completing the featured five-star character demo rewards Polychromes and other upgrade materials.

Howl's Scratch Cards

Scratch Cards, depending entirely on your luck, may offer you up to 40 Polychromes. Simply visit Howl's Newsstand to get a free scratch card. Scratch off the NXN section to reveal a reward.

Luckily, Scratch Cards refresh every day, so you can also visit the next day to try your luck again.

How to Buy Polychromes

Although you can get a sufficient amount of Polychromes for free in Zenless Zone Zero, if you are not patient enough and want them as quickly as possible, you can consider purchasing them. Here is how you can purchase Polychromes:

Monochromes

You can purchase Monochromes with real money within the Monochrome Market. After purchasing Monochromes, you can then exchange them for Polychromes.

For each Monochrome, you will get one Polychrome.

New Eridu City Fund

In the main menu, you'll find an option "New Eridu City Fund." Click on it to view the battle pass details. The battle pass in Zenless Zone Zero offers two plans.

Basic Plan (Free)
Growth Plan (Paid)
Premium Plan (Paid)

Growth and Premium Plans require a purchase and offer Polychromes and Encrypted Master Tapes, along with various rewards as you progress through their milestones.
