What Are Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero?

Formerly called Coup-En, Boopons are a gacha currency in Zenless Zone Zero. You use them to roll for new Bangboos in the respective Signal Search Banner. Unlike other gacha currencies, Boopon is only obtainable through in-game activities and rewards, and there is no way to purchase them via microtransactions.

How to Get More Boopons

There are five surefire ways to get Boopons: upgrading Bangboos, completing Hollow Zero missions, purchasing Boopon from the Signal Shop, participating in events, and unlocking Battle Pass rewards.

You can claim up to 80 free Boopons reaching Inter-Knot Level 30 and logging in for seven consecutive days.

Upgrade Your Bangboos

You earn one Boopon every time you upgrade a Bangboo to Level 20. Bangboo upgrades become available at the Remodeling Shop on Sixth Street once you reach a specific Inter-Knot level.

Increase Your License Level

After unlocking the Hollow Zero game mode, you can complete extra missions in the Scott Outpost to advance your License Level and earn Boopons in return. Starting at License Level 2, you earn one Boopon for every other two levels.

Exchange Bangbuck for Boopons

Once the Bangboo Banner unlocks, you can head to the Signal Shop to purchase Boopons. Each Boopon costs 40 Bangbuck, and you can buy only a certain amount each month. (The monthly limit is typically five Boopons.)

Participate in Boopon Events

Certain events, such as Road to Proxy Greatness, reward players with Boopons. You can obtain up to 65 Boopons simply by increasing your Inter-Knot level during the event.

The events menu unlocks once you reach Inter-Knot Level 8.

Claim Your Battle Pass Rewards

F2P players can earn up to five Boopons by progressing through the Battle Pass—New Eridu City Fund. However, the reward for premium players is doubled, and they can claim up to ten Boopons, given that they reach Level 43 on their Battle Pass.
