A new Zenless Zone Zero leak suggests that Xbox players could get an exclusive console-themed Bangboo. Zenless Zone Zero is getting ready to launch its 2.0 update, which will coincide with the RPG's debut on Xbox.

On April 1, 2025, Zenless Zone Zero tweeted an image of a new S-Rank Bangboo with Xbox motifs and teased its release for "February 30, 2222." At the time, some fans assumed it was a classic April Fool's jest, which is common practice in the video game industry, while others considered it a not-so-subtle foreshadowing of a new console launch. A few days later, Zenless Zone Zero confirmed its release on Xbox Series X/S for June alongside Version 2.0. HoYoverse announced that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers would enjoy Xbox Cloud Gaming compatibility as well as some additional in-game rewards. Now, a new leak has potentially revealed one of these special bonuses.

A recent Zenless Zone Zero leak gives a full look at Yixuan's skin, expected to be added in Version 2.0 with her playable debut.

Community leaker Firefly has teased that Xbox players would receive a Bangboo named "Xboo" in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0, the same S-Rank Bangboo teased by HoYoverse on April 1. Xboo has the Xbox logo and color palette on its body and remote control buttons on its ears. According to the leak, the reward is exclusive to Xbox users, and players on different platforms may not be able to claim Xboo. This detail disappointed some fans who have been playing Zenless Zone Zero on mobile, PC, and PS5 since day one. The report about the Xbox Bangboo comes after some leaks hinted at Zenless Zone Zero's anniversary rewards, which could include a free S-Rank Agent for all players. Version 2.0 is expected to arrive on June 4.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Hints at Exclusive Bangboo for Xbox Players

It's not uncommon for gacha games to launch unique rewards for players depending on their preferred platform. For example, Genshin Impact offers PlayStation Network users an exclusive glider and sword, which can only be equipped while playing on PS5 and PS4. On the other hand, when Genshin Impact launched on Xbox in 2024, HoYoverse released a free Xbox-themed glider for all players, though non-Xbox users had to wait a few weeks to claim it. Perhaps Zenless Zone Zero could follow this example and grant the rumored Xboo to all fans eventually.

Considering that Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 is reaching its end, HoYoverse will likely reveal more details about the game's Xbox debut in the following weeks. In the meantime, fans can look forward to Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming S-Rank Bangboo named Robin alongside Hugo Vlad's release.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
