Reliable leaker Palito has reported that players would get a free copy of Overtimeboo, a new combat Bangboo expected to debut during Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7. Per the leak, fans would have to participate in a limited in-game event to obtain Overtimeboo as a reward. Earlier rumors about Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming new Bangboo teased that Overtimeboo might be an A-Rank unit. Another Bangboo potentially debuting in the 1.7 update is Hugo Vlad's companion Robin, who is rumored to be an S-Rank type.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals Free Overtimeboo for Version 1.7

While Bangboo mainly started as supports in combat, they have taken more leading roles in recent updates thanks to limited events. For example, the Bangboo dress-up competition was a major event in Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update that let players meet Hugo Vlad and Robin in-game for the first time. In the same patch, the game added a limited Fall Guys-like platformer game mode starring Bangboo. The event was quite popular among fans and there are rumors that it might return during Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7.

Zenless Zone Zero recently launched its 1.6 update, adding three playable characters to the roster in the process. Players can obtain Soldier 0 Anby and Pulchra through Zenless Zone Zero's current banners, though the latter will also be given for free as an event reward. The patch will later release Trigger in its second half before it wraps up in late April.
