Since this Bangboo is particularly hard to find down Sixth Street, players might not be aware that there are quite a few prerequisites that need to be met to unlock it. Ideally, the Bangboo should be near the metal fence opposite the Remodelling Shop. It would be easier to label it as the fence near the mini parking lot beside Bardic Needle and if you head towards it, there’s a small alleyway you can head down to find the Bangboo.

The Bangboo you’re looking for is named Fateboo and he’ll only show up in Sixth Street after you have unlocked Lumina Square and reached Inter-Knot Level 30. This also means that you need to have completed the Main Story Chapter 2 Interlude as well.

Once you reach Lumina Square, make sure to unlock Officer Mewmew in the area and complete some of his missions. You then need to complete the circuit on the Curled-Up Justaboo in Lumina Square. You can find this short-circuited black and green Bangboo curled up beside a bus stop in front of 141 Convenience Store in Lumina Square in the Evening.

The correct method to fix its circuit is:

  • Rotate the top left socket thrice
  • Rotate the center socket twice
  • Then, rotate the bottom left blue socket twice and the bottom right blue socket once to complete.

Once you fix the Curled-Up Justaboo, listen to its story to receive the Timely Assistance Medal IV in Lumina Square. Then, you’ll need to run around for about two in-game days before Fateboo appears down Sixth Street. Fateboo is actually the Curled-Up Justaboo, renamed and on his adventure to find love.
