There are multiple stables to find throughout Hyrule, and one of them is in the Gerudo Desert, aptly called Gerudo Canyon Stable, located at the coordinates -2794, -2239, 0029. Tears of the Kingdom players can check out these stables to register new horses, get horses out of the stable, and earn Pony Points to redeem for rewards. However, before players can use the services at the stable, they must complete a series of side quests involving an NPC named Piaffe.

Piaffe Packed Away

When players arrive at the stable for the first time, they will find several wooden boxes littered inside. Speak to Piaffe in the stable, and he'll have players start the Piaffe Packed Away side quest. We have a guide that covers it in full, but essentially, players just need to clear the crates and speak to him again to complete it. Once the quest is done, players will find two empty picture frames on the back wall, which is how players can start the 'A Picture for the Closed Stable' quests.

A Picture for the Closed Stable 1 Quest Guide (Spectacle Rock Location)

Interact with the frame on the right to begin the first of the 'Picture for the Closed Stable' quests. Piaffe speaks of a location called Spectacle Rock and wants Link to snap a picture of it when it's 'smiling.' To do this, we'll need to get to one of the sky islands in the East Gerudo Sky Archipelago.

Fast travel to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower.
Launch Link using the tower and head east to land on an island where Rakashog Shrine is. The coordinates for the island are roughly -1846, -2112, 1149.
The island is shaped like a cross, and players should stand on the southwestern ledge and bust out the Camera. Look straight down to find the Smiling Spectacle Rock and take a picture. Players will know they're looking in the correct spot once the red exclamation mark appears in the camera's view.
Head back to the stable and show Piaffe the picture of the smiling rock to complete the quest. He'll give Link one Pony Point and a Chilly Mushroom Risotto.

A Picture for the Closed Stable 2 Quest Guide (Giant Sword in Gerudo Highlands)

Interact with the second frame to initiate the second part of this questline. Piaffe now wants a picture of the giant sword stuck into a peak in the Gerudo Highlands. This one is a little bit easier to photograph, as players won't need to explore Tears of the Kingdom's sky.

Fast travel to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower (-3959, -1314, 0422).
Head directly north of the tower, either by launching Link or climbing the cliffs, to get to Gerudo Summit. Stand at around -3955, 1050, 0663, and players should see the Forgotten Sword to the north. Again, snap a pic of it and take it back to Piaffe.
He'll reward Link with another Pony Point and Spicy Mushroom Risotto.
