The Taunhiy Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is fairly simple to get through, as all it asks players is to learn some archery skills to defeat a couple of Constructs, but getting to it is the tricky part. Getting to Courage Island, where the Shrine is located, will also reward players with the Glide Shirt, allowing Link to move more freely when diving through the air. This guide will show players how to get to Courage Island and get through the Taunhiy Shrine.

How To Get to Courage Island and Taunhiy Shrine

Being an island, TotK players will have to get really high in the air in order to reach the Taunhiy Shrine. We managed to launch Link in the air by using the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower, located northwest of Lookout Landing, going towards Rito Village.

Once players are in the air, look directly west/southwest to see a sky island. Be careful with using the glider, as it can be easy to lose stamina and fall back down to the land.

The coordinates for Courage Island are -2226, 0927, 1644, and it's in the Hyrule Ridge Sky area.

Once players land on the island, interact with the green terminal. A green ring will appear toward the end of the island, and players need to get close to it and press A to begin the dive sequence.

Make sure to pass through all the green rings before falling into a pool of water on a lower sky island. If all the circles are dived through, the Taunhiy Shrine will reveal itself for players to complete.

Taunhiy Shrine Walkthrough (Combat Training: Archery)

Grab the Construct Bow (and arrows) on the weapon rack on the left side of the room, and then use the paraglider and the gusts of wind to propel Link upwards.

Press and hold ZR in the air to perform a slow-mo arrow shot to take care of the robotic Zonai enemies. Any other weapons will be ineffective against the Constructs, so be sure to follow the tutorial to a tee, or else players won't be able to complete the shrine.

After defeating the Constructs, open the chest to get a Strong Construct Bow with a power level of 11.

How to Get the Glide Shirt in Tears of the Kingdom (Dive Ceremony)

Once players get their Light of Blessing and end up back on Courage Island, speak to the friendly Steward Construct to start a timed Dive Ceremony challenge. Give the robot a Zonai Charge to start the challenge; players will need to dive through the rings in under 35 seconds.

Once players finish the challenge, the Construct will reward players with the Glide Shirt, which increases skydive mobility. Go ahead and equip the new piece of clothing and speak to the Construct again for a harder challenge. Complete the Dive Ceremony in under 20 seconds to get a Large Zonai Charge. Players can try the challenge again if they want more of these special Charges.
