In advance of the Tears of the Kingdom's highly-anticipated release on May 12, 2023, Nintendo has announced preorders for the exclusive, limited edition OLED Nintendo Switch for hardcore Zelda fans. This release comes as no surprise to those that have been keeping an eye on Tears of the Kingdom news, as leaks of the OLED console circulated the internet as early as December 2022.

It should be noted that Tears of the Kingdom is not included, and must be purchased separately. The Tears of the Kingdom OLED Nintendo Switch is set to ship on April 28, 2023, just two weeks before the game's release.
