In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will have to increase their battery in order to control Zonai devices for longer, and a fan has created a detailed image guide showing every step of the way in the simplest form possible. Tears of the Kingdom is Breath of the Wild's direct sequel, but that doesn't mean it's more of the same. This most recent game has opened up areas of the map in completely different altitudes and given gamers brand-new tools to explore them.
Right at the start of the game, Link's right arm is badly damaged, and it's replaced with an individual's who players will come to know over the course of the main quest line. This course of events allows Link to take advantage of several Zonai abilities in Tears of the Kingdom. Ultrahand is the most versatile skill in the game because, not only does it allow players to move objects like the Magnesis rune, but it also makes it possible to fuse them together and create energy-fueled machines and contraptions.
At first, Link will only have a single full battery, but as gamers progress through the game, they'll be able to unlock more. The process that needs to occur in order to get more batteries in Tears of the Kingdom can be quite complicated, especially for those who are still starting their first playthrough. Thankfully, Reddit user dr_henry_jones shared their battery upgrade guide on the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit. They've managed to summarize this complex process in a single image without missing any details.
To increase Link's battery capacity, gamers must first farm Zonaite in the Depths, which is required to trade for Crystallized Charges at Forge Constructions, and these Charges are then exchanged for Energy Wells at Crystal Refineries. Three Zonaite is worth one Crystallized Charge. Three large Zonaite is worth one large Crystallized Charge, which is worth 20 Crystallized Charges, so gamers need 100 Crystallized Charges to build one Energy Well, and a full battery requires three Energy Wells.
Players can also collect huge Crystallized Charges, which are worth 100 Crystallized Charges, meaning they can be turned into an Energy Well right away. However, these charges are quite rare and can only be obtained by completing missions in Tears of the Kingdom's abandoned underground mines or rematching the regional bosses in the Depths. It's best to collect these treasures before farming for Crystallized Charges some other way and increasing Link's battery to the maximum because, otherwise, they will simply become obsolete.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for Nintendo Switch.
