The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes Link back to the same Hyrule from Breath of the Wild - this time mired with a mysterious gloom. That means the player can expect to see many of the same Zelda enemies they saw in the previous game. One such enemy is the Evermean, known by many as simply the 'Living Tree.' How To Beat Living Tree Enemies (Evermeans)
There are a number of methods players can employ to defeat Evermeans when they creep up. Here are some of the most effective:
Evermeans won't respond to anything that doesn't harm an actual tree: so things like hammers, clubs, and arrows (unless fused with something that produces fire).
Defeating Evermeans With Fire
Evermeans are incredibly flammable, so a great way to deal with them is to use fire. They will shake off the flame if they can, meaning it can sometimes take more than one hit, but otherwise, the fire will do the work for the player. Here are some suggestions for how to utilize fire against Evermeans:

Anything that can chop down a tree can also deal with an Evermean - the main challenge is getting in close enough without taking any damage. Players can also make an axe with a tree branch and a stone, which will likely be available in the surrounding area.
Are Living Trees (Evermeans) Hard to Beat?
Players will be pleased to learn that Evermeans are more annoying than anything. Once the player knows how to defeat them, they'll go down in the amount of time it takes to fell a regular tree. The main challenge with Evermeans is dealing with multiple at once or trying to tackle them without an axe, sword, or fire.
