A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has managed to cross the entire map in under three minutes using the fastest aircraft in the game. In Tears of the Kingdom, building vehicular contraptions with the help of Ultrahand is a key feature of the game. This ancient power gives players a lot more freedom and makes playing Tears of the Kingdom a more entertaining experience. Since its launch in May, players have been flooding the game's Reddit page with their wildest inventions, including floating boats, bomber planes, and autonomous combat drones.

Tears of the Kingdom has been a huge success, with the game having snatched the record for the fastest-selling Nintendo game to date. Many Zelda fans have expressed their admiration for its enhanced gameplay mechanics, which allow players to really get creative.

Over on the game's subreddit, a user named MiztrSageTOTK-Only posted a clip of them driving the fastest floating vehicle to cross the entire map in under three minutes. The player said they stacked 14 railings, placed them vertically, and attached 5 more railings before adding a stabilizer and a Zonai battery. Then, they activated the Zonai fan, angled it 45° upward using the Ultrahand ability, and pushed it against the rail stack to make the vehicle walk. In the comments, many players expressed their admiration for the vehicle, with some joking that they will be faster than loading screens at some point.

Tears of the Kingdom provides players with a huge amount of freedom in designing and building their makeshift vehicles from rechargeable electric cars to specially-modified buggies. Some players have spent most of their time pushing the game's building mechanics to their limits. As an example, one crafty Tears of the Kingdom player built a self-sufficient aircraft that could fly around Hyrule forever.

Players can add a balancing effect to their vehicles by using Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai devices, which are obtained through Device Dispensers. When combined with a plank of wood, Zonai devices create a simple vehicle as a mode of transportation. The utility-based devices range from fans to balloons, and they help Link as he travels around Hyrule in search of Princess Zelda.

The sandbox nature of Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability grants players the power to build all manners of driving contraptions. This ability is an upgraded version of the Magnesis from Breath of the Wild, with which players can attach spare materials together to build not only vehicles but also intricate structures.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
