Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player teddy1234 was able to recreate Super Mario 64's Dire Dire Docks theme by using several Zonai stakes, a Zonai beam emitter, and a mine cart with an attached Zonai fan. The beam emitter is also attached to the mine cart in order to make contact with the Zonai stakes and play different sounds as teddy1234 races down the rails. The Zonai stakes appear to make slightly different sounds at higher and lower elevations, so the user needed to adjust the height and order of the Zonai stakes to play the Dire Dire Docks theme correctly. After trial and error, teddy1234 was able to record gameplay with the theme playing in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

According to teddy1234, getting the timing right was the most difficult challenge for recreating the Dire Dire Docks theme. Fortunately, all the Zonai items may be acquired easily from nearby Zonai device dispensers. Minecarts and tracks may be found all over Hyrule, including the many Sky Islands floating above the main region.

The user's in-game rendition of the Dire Dire Docks theme is an impressive feat in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Some players in the community did not know that Zonai stakes could make sounds, so the gameplay clip could inspire others to recreate other music tracks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as well. This could also remedy Link's lack of an Ocarina in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom since players could recreate teddy1234's new trick.

The Zelda community will likely continue to find new tricks and discoveries in the weeks and months to come. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players may also draw inspiration from other classic Nintendo 64 games as well. For example, a player has already recreated a bizarre quest from Zelda: Majora's Mask in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
