Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is set to release on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in all regions. The game has not had any development delays and is still on course to launch on its originally announced date.
If you pre-ordered the game, you should be able to pick up your copy of Echoes of Wisdom on launch day, while it may take a day or two after launch for a copy ordered online to arrive. Digital pre-orders should automatically begin installing when the game launches digitally.
But depending on where you live, the Echoes of Wisdom release time for you may come earlier than other time zones. For example, New Zealand is 16 hours ahead of the eastern U.S. EST time zone, but the game launches at midnight in both time zones. The U.S. Release time is tied to the EST time zone across all regions, so players in the PST time zone, for example, will be able to access the game at 9:00 p.m. On September 25 instead of midnight.

The Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom release time is set for midnight local time in almost every time zone, as is standard for most games that can be downloaded via the Nintendo Switch e-shop. Unless you live in certain regions of the United States, the game will become downloadable and playable at midnight on September 26. The time zone that will gain access to the game first in UST is New Zealand, which is almost a full day ahead of the western U.S.

The only exception for the Echoes of Wisdom midnight local launch time is the U.S. Though the game releases at midnight EST on September 26, players in time zones to the west will be able to play the game at the same time it goes live for East Coast players – players in the CST, MST, and PST time zones will be able to play the game at 11:00, 10:00, and 9:00 p.m.(Respectively) on September 25.
