Throughout The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Accessories can be equipped to give a variety of bonuses. Most of these bonuses come in the form of higher chances for certain items to drop, like Hearts, Rupees, or even Fairies. But the Frog Ring Echoes of Wisdom players is different, and provides a major buff to Zelda's jumps.

The Frog Ring is one of the best Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom accessories because its effect is simple and useful for every area in the game, and even in combat. But to get the Frog Ring, Echoes of Wisdom players will have to progress about halfway through the game.

Echoes of Wisdom Frog Ring Accessory Effects

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Frog Ring Effects

The effect of the Frog Ring is simple: with this Accessory equipped, Zelda's default Jump Height is doubled. This might not seem like much, but in practice it's an enormous improvement for Zelda's movement when it comes to exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat.

With this equipped, instead of having to summon a Table for every ledge that's just slightly too high for Zelda to get up, the Frog Ring lets Echoes of Wisdom players continue on their way without having to open up the bulky Echoes menu.

This works for Trampolines, too, and you will only need a single Trampoline to get on top of most Trees in the game, allowing players to access out-of-bounds areas much more easily.

This is great for combat because it lets Zelda jump above some attacks and dodge them. It makes Zelda significantly more efficient at minigame challenges, like the Acorn Gathering events or Mango Rush minigame, as you won't have to spend time setting up a stairway to get to taller areas you can reach with the Frog Ring.

To complete The Zora Child's Fate quest in Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda must summon three different fish for the child's mum nearby.

How To Get The Frog Ring in Echoes of Wisdom

Though it is undoubtedly one of the most useful Accessories in Echoes of Wisdom, you can't get the Frog Ring until you have practically completed the fourth dungeon of the game: Hyrule Castle.

After clearing the Suthorn Ruins dungeon at the start of the game, and after solving the Jabul Waters and Gerudo Desert Rifts, Zelda is guided back to Hyrule Castle to deal with the Rift that has opened within.

Just before reaching the final boss of this stealth-ridden dungeon, Zelda must deal with a g roup of two Darknuts and one Ball-and-Chain Trooper in a locked room. Once you defeat these three enemies, the doors to the rooms around unlock, including the way up to the Big Key room.

Enter the door to the north to find a Golden Egg, the Big Key to get to the final Hyrule Castle boss, and the Frog Ring in three separate chests. Consider going to the Great Fairy to upgrade your Accessory slots so you can equip the Frog Ring and another useful Accessory at the same time.
