Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Once you begin clearing the large rifts in the regions of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you should revisit their respective cities and start picking up side quests. You'll get various rewards including Heart Pieces and Might Crystals. If you revisit the River Zora, you can get a hint regarding the "Big Shot" side quest. This is one of Echoes of Wisdom's easier tasks, but it wouldn't hurt for you to have Echoes that can fight underwater. However, the biggest challenge is tracking down the missing Zora, since his location will not be posted on the map until after you find him.

Where to Find the River Zora

After you've completed the "Still Missing" main quest, you can return to the River Zora Village to speak to Dradd. Here, you'll learn one of his assistants is missing, specifically the one that was in the small pool of water in the hut. You're given a hint as to where to find him. He was last seen in Seesyde Village.

If you enter Dradd's hut and he isn't home, there's a chance you spoke to Rogma outside the Sea Zora village/Zora Cove. This will kick off the "Secret Chief Talks" side quest.

Warp to the Waypoint stone outside Zora Cove, and swim west. If you're using the warp near Seesyde Village, then head south from the docks. You'll eventually find a small boat with the missing Zora standing on its red roof. His vessel is circled by Bombfish and two Chompfin. Once Zelda notices him, the quest "Big Shot" will be added to your Adventure Log. If you're having trouble finding the Zora, refer to the blue objective marker on the image below.

You'll need aquatic Echoes to save the River Zora. The easiest way to defeat them is to send out a Chompfin Echo. This will take care of the Chompfin and the Bombfish. You can also use a Bombfish of your own. If you're doing this quest immediately after "Still Missing", Tri's level will most-likely be level 4. This is just enough to summon 1 Chompfin Echo. If you want to be able to summon more Echoes to clear this side quest, then you should level up Tri to have 6 triangles as opposed to 5. Here's a list of recommended Echoes for "Big Shot":

Once you rescue the River Zora, he'll give you 10 Riverhorses and sail you back to Seesyde Village. You can also get Riverhorses from the store in the River Zora village. You won't be able to eat Riverhorse in its raw form, but you can use them as an ingredient for smoothies. Riverhorses are used in the following recipes:
