Thanks to The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the legendary bird trio from the Kanto region has arrived in Paldea. If players roll credits for the DLC, they can speak to a man named Snacksworth, who hangs out near the entrance of Blueberry Academy. Complete BBQs and then turn them in to him so he can give you treats for legendary Pokemon encounters, such as the Zapdos Treat. In this guide, we'll show you where to find Zapdos once you get the Zapdos Treat so you can add yet another legendary monster to your growing Pokedex.
Pokemon Fan Creates Unique Paradox Form For Zapdos
A Pokemon fan shares an incredible Paradox version for Zapdos, the electric-type legendary Pokemon from the first generation.
Zapdos Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk
To get to Zapdos' location, open the map with the Y button. Press L or R to scroll to the main Paldea map. Go ahead and fast travel to the Poco Path Lighthouse, which is only a short hike from your house in Cabo Poco --it's in the southern section of the region, not too far south of Mesagoza and Los Platos (East).
When you get to the lighthouse, climb the ladder and run around to the southern edge of the tower. Zapdos will be flapping its wings, waiting for an encounter.
Before you interact with the legendary Electric/Flying-type Pokemon, though, make sure to open the menu and save your progress. If you accidentally knock out Zapdos, you can quickly restart your game and encounter it again.
Once you get the Zapdos Treat from Snacksworth, he'll give you a hint as to Zapdos' whereabouts. Of course, you can just use our guide, but here's the clue just in case you want it:
I'd climbed right up to the tippy-top of one of those lighthouses you've got in Paldea, and I was taking in the view, looking over a distant city... When-would you believe it!-the heavens broke wide open, and rain started pouring down on me! I thought I'd better get out of that mess in a hurry, so I turned to head down again. Then the whole sky lit up like a huge crash of lightning, and Zapdos came flying outta nowhere! It blew right by me, quick as a flash!
Zapdos' Moves and Weaknesses
Zapdos will be level 70 when you encounter it in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It's an Electric and Flying-type, so it'll take extra damage from Rock and Ice-type attacks and is resistant to Electric, Grass, Fighting, Flying, Bug, and Steel moves. Zapdos knows the Pressure ability, which puts other Pokemon under pressure, causing them to spend extra PP for their moves in battle.
