Blue-Eyes saw an impressive showing throughout the rankings, with three players including the top two Duelists using Blue-Eyes as their deck of choice. The first-place player used Tenpai Dragon as an alternative to Blue-Eyes, while the third-place Duelist utilized the popular "Branded" deck. "Mementotlan" also saw an impressive showing in April, used by both the 7th and 10th-ranked players.

The variety of decks used by Master Duel's top players was not without a few interesting outliers in the rankings as well. The eighth-ranked Duelist paired the "Yubel" theme with "Fiendsmith" cards as one of their decks of choice for the April season, while also flexing a "Millennium" variant of the "Snake-Eye" strategy. Master Duel's ninth-ranked player for April also used a more unusual decklist for their Ranked climb, utilizing the "Lightsworn" Monsters' milling effects in combination with pieces of the once "Tier 0" Tearlaments deck.

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel's variety of decks in the upper echelons of competitive play comes as the game has provided plenty for more casual players as well. The start of May saw the return of the fan-favorite "N/R Rarity" event as a Duel Trial, restricting players to building decks using only N and R-rarity cards. Master Duel also added four new Secret Packs in April, making popular decks like "Centur-ion" and the previously-mentioned Mementotlan easier to build. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel's top players brought a variety of powerful decks and unique strategies to the table throughout the April season.
