How to Extract in YAPYAP

YAPYAP players looking to extract must find the extraction point located somewhere in their level. This extraction point is hidden within a tall tower with a magical aura radiating from its peak. Players can easily tell it apart from other parts of the castle due to this aura and the large staircase leading up to it.

After walking up this staircase and entering the tower, players will find themselves in a circular room with a staircase in the back. Walking up those stairs leads players to a room that contains a magical orb on a small stand. Press "E" on the orb to begin the extraction process.

Interacting with the orb will start a 10-second countdown. Once the countdown has completed, everyone inside the circle will be extracted.

Only players inside the circle around the extraction orb will successfully extract.

What are the Benefits of Extraction in YAPYAP?

While players can complete a night without actually extracting in YAPYAP, there are two major benefits to extracting rather than dying in the castle. Firstly, players will not lose the wands they entered the castle with. Instead, successfully extracting will allow players to return to the lobby with their inventory intact.

Secondly, players will be able to keep all the chaos points they've accumulated during the night. When players die or do not extract at the end of a night, they will lose a portion of their chaos points. This makes extraction especially important for players aiming to reach higher quotas.

How to Find the Extraction Point in YAPYAP

The main way players can find the extraction point in YAPYAP is by keeping an eye out for it while exploring the level. Since its appearance is unique, anyone spotting it will immediately know what it is. All they have to do after spotting it is remember its location and travel to it before the night's timer ends.

One tip YAPYAP players can use to find the tower more easily is to look for it after climbing up to taller areas. The magical aura radiating from the top of the tower is easily spotted from the roofs of other buildings. Additionally, players can use the Astral Wand to locate the orb used for extraction.

How to Use the Astral Wand to Find the Extraction Point in YAPYAP

Players struggling to find the extraction point in any level can use the Astral Wand's Astral Eyes spell to try to locate the extraction orb. While the orb itself is very small, it will be the only visible item in the tower containing it.

Players who focus on finding a tower with one small visible item while using the Astral Eyes spell will have a better chance of finding it than if they continue wandering aimlessly.
