How to Get Every Wand in YAPYAP

YAPYAP is a co-op horror game where your only goal is to destroy as much of an enemy wizard's tower as possible. To accomplish this, YAPYAP players must use magic wands to smash furniture, fight enemies, and cause heaps of chaos.

Upon release of the game, there are nine magic wands for YAPYAP players to use. We'll cover how players can get all of these wands, so you can focus on causing as much mayhem as possible in style.

How to Pick the Wand of Winds off the Lobby Tree in YAPYAP

The Wand of Winds is the starter wand for all YAPYAP players. When players enter a game of YAPYAP, they will start near a tall tree. Looking at the branches on the tree will reveal that you can press E to break them off.

Once you've broken a branch off the tree, look to the ground. There will be a Wand of Winds on the ground that you can pick up and use.

Since there are multiple branches, players can take several Wands of Winds with them during their first quotas. This will make it easier to destroy items since you'll spend less time waiting for cooldowns.

How to Purchase Wands in the YAPYAP Store

Most of the game's wands are found in the store at spawn. The shopkeeper will sell three wands at a time, each with their own price. To buy a wand, hold the E key while hovering over the wand you want.

The shop can be re-rolled with gold to try and get different wands in the currently active store. To do so, interact with the box to the left of the shopkeeper.

How to Get Gold for the YAPYAP Store

There are a few ways players can gather gold to buy new wands. When players enter a new game, they can get 11 free gold coins on the staircase in the house in the lobby.

Another way to get free gold is by finding it while destroying a rival wizard's tower. Any gold found in these towers can be grabbed and stolen. As a bonus, stealing this gold will count towards your chaos quota and can even fulfill some contracts.

Selling items to the shopkeeper in YAPYAP

Players can also sell items and wands found around the lobby and while destroying the rival towers. To sell these items, approach the shopkeeper and hold E while holding the item.

Outside of selling and finding gold, players will earn some gold for completing quotas. The more players earn toward the quota, the more gold they will receive.

One final consistent way of getting gold comes after completing the first quota. After receiving the basement key, head down to the basement. It will contain multiple piles of coins as well as potions and items that players can sell for even more gold.

How to Get the Wand of Destruction in YAPYAP

The Wand of Destruction is found through a special contract quest while fulfilling your quota. The contract starts when players find a floating contract in the tower and press E to begin it. The contract will be added to the player's existing contracts, which can be checked by pressing G.

This new contract wants players to clog two toilets or sinks in the tower. Players will need to keep an eye out for a large bathroom while causing chaos.

The bathroom will have a large circle of sinks in the center with rows of toilet stalls on either wall. Clogging the sinks will be the easiest task, so start by pressing E on two of the sinks to turn them on. Put items in the sink while the water is running to clog it. This may take a few tries.

If you notice items flying out of the sink instead of clogging it, stand on top of them while they are in the sink.

Once the sinks are clogged, the pillar in the center of the sink will change and reveal a hidden chest. Open the chest to find the Wand of Destruction hidden within it.
