How to Increase Health (HP) in Yakuza Kiwami 3
Put Money on the Health Skill Tree of Upgrade Abilities
As soon as you start playing the first chapters of Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine, you can spend Yen to upgrade their respective Health Skill Trees. Each skill tree has 5 nodes, and each must be upgraded 4 times before moving to the next.
Obtain more money by beating up Reapers, or by gambling at the Lullaby Mahjong for Kiryu and the Dragon Palace Gambling Hall for Mine.

The cost of moving from one skill tree node to another increases substantially. Make sure to save your game before spending your resources on stat and skill upgrades.
Upgrading Kiryu and Mine's HP Skill Tree should be a priority. This will ensure their survivability from their lethal attacks and special moves.
How to Enhance Attack Damage in Yakuza Kiwami 3
Spend Money on the Attack Skill Tree of Upgrade Abilities
Similarly, Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine can raise their Attack Power through their respective Attack Skill Trees. Each skill tree also has five nodes and must be upgraded four times.

Before engaging in fights, make sure to also spend money on the Skill Tree for additional damage output. Doing so will make Kiryu and Mine deal more damage against strong bosses and regular enemies.
Upgrade Health & Damage Through Phone Accessories in Yakuza Kiwami 3
The next option for increasing Attack Power is to attach specific phone accessories. In particular, Logo Straps and Lock Screens for Flip Phones. Unfortunately, this feature is only available for Kazuma Kiryu in the Kiwami 3 storyline.
After spending time with Haruka in the karaoke bar, Kazuma will be asked to meet Goro Majima at the Millennium Tower. While on his way, he will automatically trigger the "Connected by LaLaLa Love" substory, which unlocks the phone customization feature. He can purchase other accessories at Kamurcho and Downtown Ryukyu in different shops and mini-game locations.
