Yakuza 3 Remastered is the first game in the Yakuza Remastered Collection. The game's story is based around Kazuma Kiryu and his new-found life in Okinawa. Most of the early chapters take place in and around Downtown Ryukyu and the Morning Glory Orphanage.
While Yakuza 3 Remastered is a great version of the original PlayStation 3 game, this is still a game of that era. Players should expect less guidance and hand-holding than is present in newer games in the franchise. Once Chapter 4: The Man in the Sketch begins, Kiryu is free to explore Downtown Ryukyu at night. This is where Kiryu can find and complete the Shisa Shakedown Substory.

To get this substory to appear, players need to have completed substories 31 & 32 by helping the nervous teen in front of the Smile Burger then the Flawless Cabaret Club. Once players have "helped" him, the substory should then appear on the map. Speak to the couple on Ryukyu Boulevard near the entrance to the Kariyushi Arcade.
They are on the hunt for a Shisa statue to pair up with the one they already own. Shisa statues are a cross between a lion and a dog meant to ward off evil spirits in Okinawan culture. Kiryu receives a photograph of a statue similar to the one they are looking for.
The photograph can also be viewed again in Kiryu's inventory. Open the menu and switch to the valuables tab to view it. Keep in mind that the couple is looking for a statue with a closed mouth while searching for it. There are many Shisa statues in the area near the couple. All of these statues in the Kariyushi Arcade can be examined and Kiryu can call the couple to inspect them, but they will reject every single one.
Statue Location
The Shisa Statue the couple is searching for is actually located in the northern part of Downtown Ryukyu. Head to North Hatsumachi Street above the Flawless Cabaret Club and Save Point. Walk down the empty street headed east until Kiryu spots the statue on the ground.
Getting close to it will automatically prompt his reaction. Walk up and examine it to call the couple over. They will inspect the statue and think it goes perfectly with their own. Kiryu will receive 50,000 yen as a reward from the couple.
