As players explore Primordia in Xenoblade Chronicles X, they are likely to encounter a segment that is home to FN Site 118. To reap the benefits of that site, players will need to place a probe upon it, though they may struggle to find its precise position. Indeed, tracking down FN Site 118 in Xenoblade Chronicles X can be a bit tricky, and this guide is here to help players who cannot seem to locate it.
While some high-level creatures can be found in the vicinity of FN Site 118, players should be able to reach the site without fighting any of them.
Xenoblade Chronicles X - Definitive Edition: What Does the Potential Stat Do?
While many of the stats in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition are self-explanatory, that is not the case for Potential.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: FN Site 118 Location
FN Site 118 inside a cave on the southern half of the associated segment. To enter that cave, Xenoblade Chronicles X players should take the following actions:
- Travel along the southern edge of the segment to locate an inclining path.
- Follow that path upward, making a sharp right turn when necessary.
- At the top of the path, pass through the tunnel on the left to enter the cave and access FN Site 118.
After approaching FN Site 118, which materializes as a red beam, players should interact with it to place a probe and unlock recon for adjacent segments. This recon will reveal that there is some treasure nearby, and players may want to pursue it before they get back to working on missions in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: FN Site 118 Stats
FN Site 118 has the following stats:
- Production: C
- Revenue: E
- Combat Support: B
These stats are quite lackluster, which means that FN Site 118 is not particularly good at generating Miranium or Funds. That said, the site can yield three resources: Aurorite, White Cometite, and Dawstone. Players will need some of those resources to complete a handful of missions, including the Repair Job mission, and they can be extracted by both Basic and Mining Probes.
To note, players who have some free Mining Probes might as well install one at FN Site 118 to take advantage of its C-level Production. Indeed, while that is certainly not a great stat, Mining Probes will generate more rewards overall than Basic Probes will when placed upon this site.
To place such a probe, players should open the in-game map (by pressing "Y") and navigate to the FrontierNav tab. Players should then highlight FN Site 118, press "A" to enter the "Swap Data Probe" menu, and select a Mining Probe. Players must then simply confirm the Swap Cost, which is determined by the probe that is being installed, to finalize the process.
