Xbox Releases New System Update for July 2023

Microsoft has released a new update for Xbox consoles that should be available for users to download right now if they haven't already. Like its competitors, Microsoft regularly issues updates for its consoles to address issues, add new features, and more.

The rest of the patch notes mention some known issues currently impacting Xbox consoles. Apparently, there have been some "intermittent audio issues" in the dashboard when launching games or apps, which Microsoft encourages players report. A suggested workaround is simply rebooting the console. Another issue mentioned by Xbox is consoles not displaying at the right resolution when they're first turned on. Again, players are asked to report the problem if they run into it. The workaround consists of restarting the console through the Power menu.
