Xbox Game Pass has recently announced that the subscribers of its Ultimate version will get three months of Apple TV+ for free. The announcement was part of the second wave of Xbox Game Pass news of the month, which also showcased a few games that will enter the service soon.

The service gives users access to hundreds of games every month, ranging from first-party games made by Bethesda, Arkane, and id Software to third-party studios such as Atlus, which is rumored to be offering Shin Megami Tensei games soon. However, games are not everything that subscribers can get by using the service. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks are free benefits that all members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate participants get. These small perks are given out regularly and can be redeemed via the mobile Xbox Game Pass app, or using the console.

This month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get access to a 3-month free trial of Apple TV+, which can be redeemed until March 31. So, apart from access to the best Xbox Game Pass games, users can now watch many unique TV shows and movies on the streaming platform, which has a partnership with Microsoft.

Apple TV Game Pass

It’s not the first time that an Apple TV+ subscription is offered on Xbox Game Pass. Last November, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers gained a 3-month Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscription, which only worked for new clients of the streaming channel.

By using Apple TV+, gamers will be able to watch excellent original shows like Severance, See, or the new season of Ted Lasso, the award-winning sports comedy show that has been the biggest highlight of the channel recently. Ted Lasso tells the story of Jason Sudeikis, an American football coach who gets the job of training a soccer team despite not having any experience with this sport. With his charm, wit, and perseverance, he does his best to win regardless of his inexperience.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also get access to a few new games this month, including the popular JRPG Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, MLB The Show 23, and Infinite Guitars. Cities: Skylines, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Forza Horizon 5 have all received DLC this month, too. Another important highlight is the announcement that starting from April 12, the members of the pass will get to play Ghostwire: Tokyo, available only for PlayStation 5 and PC at the moment.
