The Xbox Game Pass service is successful due to the varied selection of titles it has within its roster, and Two Point Hospital is no exception. A kind of spiritual reboot for 1997's Theme Hospital, the newer title found a huge audience thanks to its addictive and zany gameplay.

Two Point Hospital has been available on Xbox Game Pass for some time, and many avid simulation game fans have likely already played through the title. However, with the game set to be removed from the service in the near future, Game Pass subscribers who have not yet experienced Two Point Hospital would do well to give it the chance it deserves before it's gone.

Originally releasing in 2018 for PC before receiving an additional console release in 2020, Two Point Hospital was developed by Two Point Studios and published by Sega. An over-the-top simulation game saturated with comedy, Two Point Hospital has players oversee the creation and subsequent development of their own hospital.

Starting from virtually nothing, players have full creative control over the specifications and layout of their hospital, increasing the range of treatment facilities to make the hospital more viable for a wider scope of patients. Once players amass a comprehensive array of facilities, a large part of the gameplay concerns diagnosing patients with a variety of comedic ailments, and successfully treating them to earn money.

The running of a player's hospital also necessitates the careful hiring of a variety of staff, with different applicants possessing a range of different perks that can be mixed and matched to best suit a facility. Starting off in a more intimate and less populated area, new and more complex hospitals can be explored, providing a layer of challenge to Two Point Hospital's gameplay experience.

Two Point Hospital has been available via Xbox Game Pass for some time, but it has been reported that the game will soon be leaving the service. Alongside a litany of other high-profile titles, Two Point Hospital is set to leave Game Pass on August 31.

Fans of the popular Two Point formula can take solace due to the recent addition of the Two Point Campus to Xbox Game Pass. Possessing much of the same core gameplay as the departing Two Point Hospital, Campus instead sees the player oversee the development of a university, gaining access to campus-sites in more populated and prestigious areas as they progress through the game.

The fact that Two Point Studios is seemingly creating a series of titles based off of the success of Two Point Hospital is a testament to just how engaging and fun the original title is. With the title still having some time left before it is removed from Game Pass, fans can download and play Two Point Hospital through the end of the month. To further cement how well received and worth playing Two Point Hospital is, the title was nominated for a BAFTA award in 2019. The curated simulation mechanics lay a strong foundation for Two Point Hospital, with visually pleasing art and comedic themes making the game all the more worth checking out on Xbox Game Pass before it is removed.

Two Point Hospital is now available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
