Xbox Game Pass releases continue to roll out at a steady pace, regardless of the likely obstacles in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Xbox boss Phil Spencer said just recently that continuing to fully support its promised services remain the team's priorities. And Xbox Game Pass is certainly delivering, confirming the release of three new great games on both Xbox One and PC for Game Pass subscribers.

The first and biggest release in this wave of Xbox Game Pass titles is Streets of Rage 4. Streets of Rage 4 is a brand new game, its full launch coinciding with its Xbox Game Pass release. It's a classic beat 'em up game just like the original Streets of Rage titles from the 90s. With a Metacritic rating of between 81 and 84 depending on platform, Streets of Rage 4 delivers on the promise of bringing back the franchise's iconic brawler gameplay.

Second on the list of new Xbox Game Pass titles is Levelhead, which also is a brand new release. Levelhead is a hardcore platformer built around a custom level creator which allows players to share and play levels online. Levelhead also features a full campaign of 90+ challenging levels. It's Mario Maker taken to its appropriate conclusion with all of the online features and support players have asked for.

The third game isn't entirely new, but did come out on January 31 earlier this year. HyperDot is an arcade game, a simpler alternative to the other new Game Pass games. HyperDot tasks the player with keeping their circle-shaped character from being hit by geometrically-shaped enemies that move in very deliberate ways. If that sounds a lot like Geometry Wars without the shooting, that's because it's an apt comparison.

Perhaps the best news of all is that all three of these games are available to play on Xbox Game Pass on either Xbox One or PC right now. All that's necessary is the appropriate Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Xbox remains on-track to continue adding games to Xbox Game Pass as it's able. Only one game is confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in the future for now, however. That's because it's Red Dead Redemption 2 and the Xbox team is likely making space so the game can get all of the marketing focus. Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on Xbox Game Pass for consoles on May 7. Expect more games to be announced soon thereafter.

Xbox Game Pass is available now on both PC and Xbox One.
