Xbox Game Pass has added Mad Streets to its always-growing content library. This is the second new title to reach Xbox Game Pass since the beginning of October 2024.
Developed by Canada-based studio Craftshop Arts, Mad Streets is a party game that lets up to four players embrace "physics-driven chaos" by brawling with one another. It was originally released for the latest two generations of Xbox consoles in August 2021 before making its way to PC and the now-defunct Google Stadia service in March 2022. Mad Streets received a warm reception from its player base, as underlined by the fact that it currently boasts "Very Positive" user reviews on Steam.

Mad Streets Expands Xbox Game Pass Multiplayer Game Lineup
Shortly following its two-year release anniversary, Craftshop Arts' debut title was added to Microsoft's subscription service, which it reached on Monday, October 7. Since it's not a day-one release, Mad Streets has been made available across all non-Core tiers of Xbox Game Pass. Its PC version comes with one unusual provision in that it doesn't support mouse and keyboard controls but instead requires a controller to play.
Mad Streets has thus expanded the already sizable selection of Xbox Game Pass multiplayer experiences. Aside from its promise of brutal and comical gameplay, the party brawler also offers an attractive proposition for trophy hunters, as it comes with ten straightforward achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore points in total. And while all of them can be obtained by playing with bots, Mad Streets truly shines with a party, especially since it even comes with split-screen support, which is quite a rarity in today's gaming landscape.

Xbox Game Pass has previously confirmed two more games for October 2024. The first of these is set to arrive on October 10 in the form of Inscryption, a critically acclaimed deck-building roguelike. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is then scheduled to debut on October 25. Following the recent tier revamp of Microsoft's subscription service, the new Call of Duty entry will only be available to PC Game Pass and GP Ultimate members.
Black Ops 6 is so far the only confirmed title from the second wave of this month's XGP releases, whereas the rest are expected to be announced in mid-October 2024. Microsoft's popular subscription service is also losing five games on October 15, which is when Scorn, F1 Manager 2023, From Space, Everspace 2, and Dyson Sphere Program are all scheduled to leave the Xbox Game Pass library.
