Xbox Game Pass Adds Its 200th Game for 2025, Plus Another…

The Xbox Game Pass library has expanded to include Relic Hunters Legend and Winter Burrow. The latter marks the 200th title added to Microsoft’s subscription service in 2025 and the 11th new game to join Xbox Game Pass since the beginning of November.

In a typical year, Microsoft’s subscription catalog adds around 150 titles. 2025 followed that trend until October 1, when Xbox Game Pass Ultimate unexpectedly added 48 games in a shadow drop coinciding with a price increase.

Winter Burrow and Relic Hunters Legend Join Multiple Xbox Game Pass Tiers

As a result, only three months after the Xbox Game Pass catalog received its 100th title of 2025, that number has now doubled as of November 12, when the platform added Relic Hunters Legend and Winter Burrow. The former has been available on all non-Essential tiers since around midnight local time, while the latter arrived on PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. This makes Winter Burrow officially the 200th title to join the service in 2025. The total excludes expanded releases, such as Ultimate games arriving on XGP Premium, as well as Retro Classics titles. It also treats games with multiple versions—such as Football Manager 26, which has separate store listings for console and PC—as single entries.

Winter Burrow Coming to Xbox Game Pass Premium in 2026

Based on Microsoft's recent track record and official statements, Winter Burrow is likely to reach the Premium tier of the service between May and November 2026. For now, it's limited to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on account of being a day-one title. The game itself is a 2D woodland survival experience starring a mouse trying to restore their desolate childhood home, while also searching for their aunt who was supposed to watch the burrow but has gone missing. Winter Burrow thus adds to the ever-growing selection of cozy games on Xbox Game Pass.

The platform's next catalog update is scheduled for this Friday, November 14, when Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is joining the service. Its arrival will conclude the Wave 1 Xbox Game Pass lineup for November 2025. The second monthly roster is expected to be announced on or around November 19, when Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is joining Xbox Game Pass following a month-long delay.

Looking ahead, Xbox Game Pass already has two confirmed titles for December: Routine and Dome Keeper. If 2024 is any indication, Microsoft may opt for a single lineup announcement next month—rather than the usual two waves—potentially announcing all December additions along with a few early January 2026 ones at once.
