The library of Xbox Game Pass only continues to grow and grow every month, even when several games do end up leaving Game Pass. It helps that Microsoft doesn't really keep fans in the dark, announcing a couple of weeks' worth of games every time. For example, now players know what to expect from the service from now through August 31.

Today, August 17, PC Game Pass subscribers will be getting Humankind, while Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order become accessible via the Cloud. Obviously, the slew of EA game is a big deal, especially as the latter two are some of the biggest Star Wars games in recent years. It's worth noting that every other Game Pass title coming this month is available on all platforms: PC, Cloud, and Console.

This includes the games joining the service on August 19, which are Recompile, Train Sim World 2, and Twelve Minutes. The first is a Metroidvania-style game about a semi-sapient program attempting to escape deletion, the second is just as it sounds being an intensive train simulation game, and the later is an "interactive thriller" about a man trapped in a time loop. Recompile and Twelve Minutes are day one titles for Xbox Game Pass.

August 25th will see the addition of Psychonauts 2, the long-awaited sequel to Raz's first adventure, and August 26th will add Myst, in which players will explore a major betrayal. Either way, between now and August 26th, Game Pass subscribers are getting access to 9 games across various mediums, but that's not all. Microsoft also revealed that the following game are getting access to touch controls via the cloud (today): Hades, Bloodroots, Farming Simulator 19, Going Under, Need for Speed Heat (EA Play), Peggle 2 (EA Play), Psychonauts, Wasteland 2, Wasteland 3, and Wasteland Remastered.

Finally, Microsoft also confirmed that four games will be leaving the library on August 31, giving players two weeks to finish the games up. At the same time, Microsoft also reminds players that they can use their membership to Game Pass discounts to buy the games for keeps, at a 20% off discount. Either way, after August 31, Blair Witch, Double Kick Heroes, and Stranger Things 3: The Game will no longer be available via Cloud, Console, or PC. NBA 2K21 will no longer be available via the Cloud of Console.

Overall, it seems to be another typical month for Game Pass, but the word "typical" may be a bit of an understatement. Xbox Game Pass is considered the best value in gaming today, and each and every month, Game Pass proves just that.
