The Xbox Game Pass subscription service has been updated yet again, this time adding three additional games to the ever-growing lineup. New Xbox Game Pass games are added on a regular basis, though the titles that tend to generate the most excitement among fans are the day one games.
Day one Xbox Game Pass games really give subscribers bang for their buck. If one plays enough day one Xbox Game Pass games, the service practically pays for itself, as it saves users from having to purchase the games outright. Xbox Game Pass subscribers should be especially excited about the service's latest update, as it has added two day one games and a third game that could arguably be considered day one as well.
Xbox Game Pass Confirms Another Day One Game for 2024
Xbox announces that yet another exciting title is making its way to the Game Pass library on day one when it launches next year.
As of October 31, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play day one games Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and Jusant, as well as Wartales, across PC, the cloud, and Xbox consoles. While Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and Jusant are inarguably day one games, Wartales is a bit different. This is the first time Wartales has been available on Xbox, so some could still consider it a day one game, but it has previously been available on both PC and the Nintendo Switch.
New Xbox Game Pass Games Today
- Headbangers: Rhythm Royale (Cloud/Consoles/PC)
- Jusant (Cloud/Consoles/PC)
- Wartales (Cloud/Consoles/PC)
For those unfamiliar with the games, Headbangers: Rhythm Royale is exactly as it sounds. It's a music/rhythm game, but with a battle royale twist. It's earned somewhat mixed reviews from critics, but since it's available on Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost, subscribers should still consider checking it out, especially if they are rhythm game fans or battle royale enthusiasts. Jusant, meanwhile, is an adventure game all about climbing. Jusant reviews have yet to be published at the time of this writing, but since it's available day one through Game Pass, subscribers can play it themselves and form their own conclusions.
There are plenty of reviews available for Wartales thanks to its availability on PC and Nintendo Switch. Wartales has earned mostly positive reviews, and so fans of the tactical RPG genre may want to give it a look. Wartales joins the expanding list of Xbox Game Pass multiplayer games, so it should be an exciting addition for those needing something fresh to play with friends.
