Summary
- Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass in October.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and STALKER 2 are coming in November.
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming in December.
While the full scope of games coming to Xbox Game Pass these next few months has yet to be revealed, some of the biggest day one games of the year are right around the corner. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are treated to new games each and every month, typically a combination of older titles and brand-new, day one releases. In fact, this past month has seen a number of games join Game Pass, with at least one more on the way before September 2024 is over.
On September 24, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can look forward to checking out Ara: History Untold, a brand-new strategy game that has serious Civilization vibes. The catch is that Ara: History Untold is PC-only at launch, so console gamers will have to wait until the eventual port to try the game for themselves. The big games on the way in October, November, and December are all launching on consoles the same day that they release for PC, however.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 25, while Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl are coming to Game Pass on November 19 and November 20, respectively. Finally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is joining Xbox Game Pass on December 9, capping off what should be an incredibly exciting three months for Xbox Game Pass.
Upcoming Xbox Game Pass Games for 2024
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - October 25
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - November 19
- STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl - November 20
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - December 9
It's true that October, November, and December are looking somewhat bare at the moment, but plenty more games should be joining these heavy hitters. There are many Activision games that have yet to be added to Xbox Game Pass, and it's a safe bet that some of these will be added in the coming three months to help fill the gaps and ensure subscribers constantly have something new to play.
But even if nothing else comes to Xbox Game Pass in the next three months, the games that have been confirmed are some of the biggest to ever grace the subscription service. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, regardless of how one feels about the franchise, is quite simply the biggest day one Game Pass game ever. Call of Duty games consistently rank as some of the best-selling games every year, and so to have one available on Game Pass the very day of its release is monumental. Not only that, but Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the sequel to one of the most critically-acclaimed simulation games of all time, while STALKER 2 has been one of the most heavily-anticipated Xbox Series X games ever since it was first released.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is brimming with potential as well, offering a first-person take on the beloved character. MachineGames has a proven track record when it comes to first-person games, and so chances are good that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will live up to the hype. Luckily, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play it and the other three games mentioned here on day one.
