The first Xbox Game Pass update for July 2023 has added Arcade Paradise to the lineup of games. Microsoft updates its Xbox Game Pass service multiple times each month, regularly adding new games for subscribers to try.
The new Xbox Game Pass games are often a mixture of day one releases and older titles. It's safe to say that Xbox Game Pass subscribers are generally more excited when day one games are added to Xbox Game Pass, as they are what really give it its value. It's true that being able to play games on day one through Game Pass is one of the main selling points of the service, but that doesn't mean fans aren't excited when older games are added to the lineup as well.
Arcade Paradise, the first new Xbox Game Pass game for July 2023, is one such game that's older but should still greatly appeal to subscribers. Arcade Paradise first released last year to mostly positive reviews. It's a management sim where players are tasked with converting their family's laundromat business into an arcade. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are free to check it out across Xbox consoles and PC. No cloud version is available to play through Game Pass at the time of this writing.
There are five other games currently confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2023. Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup on July 5, while day one game Exoprimal is hitting the service on July 14. Xbox Game Pass subscribers also have Techtonica to look forward to on July 18, The Wandering Village to check out on July 20, and Venba to play on July 31.
As for when the official announcement will come for the new Xbox Game Pass games for July 2023, that remains to be seen. It's a holiday week, and so Microsoft may hold off on the announcement until some time next week. Alternatively, the announcement could come after Sword and Fairy: Together Forever joins the Xbox Game Pass lineup on July 5 since it's the last new Xbox Game Pass game to get an official announcement.
Microsoft won't just be confirming the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass with the official announcement. Typically, these announcements are also used to announce the games leaving Xbox Game Pass as well. The "leaving soon" section has clued fans in on at least three games getting the boot in July, but it's highly likely that even more titles are on the chopping block. Fans will just have to wait for the official announcement to find out more.
