Xbox Game Pass is losing at least five titles, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, on November 15. One of these games may have been listed as leaving in error, as it was only added to Xbox Game Pass a few months ago.

Xbox Game Pass most recently lost Return to Monkey Island, Metal Slug Tactics, and Jusant on October 31. While the next wave of departures has yet to be officially announced, the "Leaving Soon" section of the Xbox app was already updated with a preview of the upcoming catalog rotation.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Have New Perk To Claim Today

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have another perk to claim starting today, October 30, but there's no word on how long it'll be available.

The newly revealed removal register consists of five titles: Football Manager 2024, Frostpunk, Spirittea, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Blacksmith Master. The Xbox app displays six items because Sports Interactive lists the PC and console versions of its soccer management sim as separate entries on the Microsoft Store, rather than as different versions of a single game. Football Manager 2024 stayed on Xbox Game Pass for a full year longer than initially planned, following the cancellation of its sequel due to development challenges tied to the series’ transition to the Unity engine. Before it finally leaves the XGP catalog, Football Manager 2026 will join the service as a day-one release on November 4.

Blacksmith Master's Xbox Game Pass Departure May Have Been Listed by Mistake

Blacksmith Master was only added to Xbox Game Pass on August 19, making it the most unexpected inclusion in this wave of departures. While there's some (limited) precedent for titles leaving the service after just a few months, this is rare for day-one releases. Such brief availability is most commonly seen with 2K titles (most recently, Borderlands 3), whereas indie games generally remain on the platform for at least a year. Given these patterns, it’s possible Blacksmith Master was listed in error.

Final Confirmation of Mid-November Xbox Game Pass Removals Likely Coming Next Week

Historically, the "Leaving Soon" section of the Xbox app has not been a fully reliable indicator of upcoming removals, due to either incomplete listings or occasional inaccuracies. Final confirmation on Blacksmith Master’s status is expected around November 4, when Microsoft is likely to reveal the full catalog rotation agenda for the first half of the month.

While the Wave 1 lineup has yet to be officially announced, over half a dozen titles are already confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2025. The most high-profile among them is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, set to launch on November 14. Looking further ahead, day-one titles Menace and High on Life 2 have recently been confirmed for February 5 and February 13, respectively.
