Overall, March 2022 was a huge month for Xbox Game Pass, with the service being treated to a slew of day one releases and high-profile older games. But while new games are added to Xbox Game Pass on a regular basis, titles are occasionally removed from the service sometimes as well. Typically, Microsoft removes a batch of Xbox Game Pass games in the middle of the month and then another at the end of the month. Since it's now March 31, Xbox Game Pass is set to lose three more games.

In the meantime, those on PC Game Pass will soon have to deal with another departure from the service, as it was previously confirmed that Destiny 2 and its expansions are leaving PC Game Pass on April 11. Destiny 2 left the console version of Xbox Game Pass a few months ago, so the PC version getting removed was just a matter of time, though some subscribers may still be sad to see it go.

March 31 is not all doom and gloom for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, though. While Madden NFL 20, Narita Boy, and Shadow Warrior 2 are all being removed, today also marks the release of a brand-new, day one release. Day one Xbox Game Pass game Weird West is now available for subscribers to check out, and since it's earned mostly positive reviews from critics, it seems like a safe bet for anyone needing a new action-RPG to play.

Soon Xbox Game Pass subscribers should be learning about even more games that are coming and leaving the service. Friday is April 1, and Microsoft usually kicks off each month by announcing the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the next two weeks, as well as the games that are being removed in the middle of the month. But while fans wait to learn more about the new Xbox Game Pass games for April 2022, they can check out the titles being removed on March 31.
