Herdling will be added to Xbox Game Pass as a day one game on August 21. Herdling is a unique indie game where players herd strange creatures across a variety of landscapes, including fields, valleys, and snowy mountains. Based on the trailer and screenshots, Herdling looks like the kind of Xbox Game Pass game that could very well be a sleeper hit. Its bizarre concept may have kept some gamers from buying it outright, but they may be willing to play it through their subscription and could come away impressed. We'll have to wait for Herdling to be added to Xbox Game Pass on August 21 to know for sure how it stacks up, though.
Herdling is not the only new game coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2025. Farming Simulator 25 has already been added to Game Pass this month, available to subscribers across the Ultimate, PC, and Standard tiers. The latest installment in the popular simulation series, Farming Simulator 25 has earned positive reviews from fans and critics alike and should make a great addition to the lineup.
