Xbox Game Pass has added Relooted to its ever-rotating content catalog. This day-one arrival marks the seventh title to join the service in February 2026, as well as the 25th Xbox Game Pass addition since the start of the year.

Relooted is a side-scrolling puzzle-platformer heist game made by Semblance developer Nyamakop. One of its defining features lies in its "Africanfuturist" setting and premise: players assemble a crew in a near-future Johannesburg and stage thefts to reclaim real African artifacts from (fictional) Western museums.

Xbox Game Pass Kicks Off February 2026 With a Super Weird and Highly Rated Game

The first title to join Xbox Game Pass in February 2026 is a 2024 release that's equal parts critically acclaimed and just plain weird.

Relooted Now Available Across 2 Xbox Game Pass Tiers

Relooted officially launched earlier today, February 10, debuting across the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam at 9 a.m. ET. At the same time, Nyamakop's latest title was also added to the Xbox Game Pass library, marking its second day-one release this month. As is typically the case with such brand-new additions, Relooted is only available to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. While it doesn't have a native Xbox One version, it's technically playable on Microsoft's last-gen console via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Mechanically, Relooted blends planning with execution. Its core gameplay loop involves recruiting characters from across Africa, charting entry and escape routes, securing the target, and making a quick exit. According to early reviewer impressions, the heist levels themselves combine a brisk pace with a wide variety of puzzles and stealth challenges. The game's Africa-focused setting informs both its aesthetic and its themes of cultural restitution. While Africanfuturism has been a well-defined genre since the late 2010s, few video games have explored its distinctive blend of African culture, optimism, and futuristic style. One of the rare few that did is Tales of Kenzera: Zau, a 2023 metroidvania that also happens to have launched as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title.
