The Best Games On Xbox Game Pass (January 2026)
Xbox Game Pass is unquestionably worth the subscription fee, but which of the available games are the best use of your hard drive space?
Just a few days later, the subscription service has now brought Anuchard to its vast content catalog. The February 6 addition to Xbox Game Pass is the latest release from stellarNull, an Indonesian developer with a fairly varied portfolio of PC and mobile games, ranging from platformers and shoot-em-ups to puzzlers and life sims. This time around, stellarNull delivered an action RPG in the vein of classic The Legend of Zelda games that tasks the players with saving the titular kingdom of Anuchard by defeating the five fallen Guardians that had once guarded its denizens, but have since turned against them for reasons unknown.
New Xbox Game Pass Games for February 2024 List
-
Persona 3 Reload - February 2
- Day-one release
- Anuchard - February 6
- A Little to the Left - February 15
- PlateUp - February 15
Anuchard has reached Xbox Game Pass just three months shy of its two-year release anniversary. Its 2022 launch was met with above-average reviews from critics, as well as a fairly warm reception from fans of 2D action RPGs. The game's Steam version currently boasts "Very Positive" reviews, based on dozens of user ratings. Looking at the reasoning behind those ratings, multiple people said they loved Anuchard for its interesting setting, varied side quests, and a wide selection of upgrades. Apart from the older Zelda games, the title also evoked comparisons to Terranigma, an iconic 1995 SNES ARPG from the now-defunct Japanese studio Quintet.
With a campaign that's roughly nine hours long, Anuchard offers decent value for money even at its full retail price of $15. As such, Microsoft's subscribers with a penchant for playing 2D action RPGs shouldn't think twice about trying it out now that it is temporarily free on Xbox Game Pass. The latest release from stellarNull also won't be the last interesting indie release to hit Microsoft's subscription service this month. At least two more such titles are scheduled to reach Xbox Game Pass on February 15 in the form of charming organizational puzzler A Little to the Left and roguelite restaurant manager PlateUp.
And while history suggests those won't be the last of February 2024 additions to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has yet to announce what else it plans to bring to its subscription service in the coming weeks. But that likely won't be the case for much longer, not least because some industry watchers currently suspect that the next wave of Xbox Game Pass additions could be announced as early as today, February 6.
