Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles can now play Farming Simulator 25 through their subscription. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass every single month, with subscribers treated to a mix of brand-new, day one releases and older titles. Now that it's August, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start marking their calendars for the Game Pass games on deck for the new month.

At the time of this writing, Microsoft has yet to fully pull the curtain back on all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2025. However, previous release date announcements have clued fans in on what to expect. We know that Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced is coming to Game Pass on August 12, while Herdling will be joining the subscription service on August 21. The big new Xbox Game Pass game for August 2025 is Gears of War: Reloaded, which is scheduled to join the lineup on August 26.

Farming Simulator 25 has been added to Xbox Game Pass as of the service's latest update, giving subscribers the chance to play the game in its entirety without paying anything more than what they already do for their subscription.

Farming Simulator 25 is Now on Xbox Game Pass

Lately, new Xbox Game Pass additions have largely been relegated to the Ultimate tier of the service, but that is not the case with Farming Simulator 25. Farming Simulator 25 is readily available to Game Pass subscribers across the Ultimate, PC, and Standard tiers. This means that the vast majority of subscribers can play Farming Simulator 25, though Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers will be missing out. Xbox Game Pass Core, for the uninitiated, is essentially the replacement for Xbox Live Gold. It gives subscribers access to a selection of specific Game Pass titles and includes online multiplayer, but has a much smaller library of games compared to the other tiers of the service.

Farming Simulator 25 kicks off the new Xbox Game Pass games for August 2025, but as previously mentioned, there are more exciting games on the way. Besides confirmed titles like Herdling on August 21 and Gears of War: Reloaded on August 26, Microsoft is expected to reveal many more Game Pass games in the near future.
