Every month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers are treated to a couple of free games for the month. May 1 will see the new month's games move in, but until then, April's Games with Gold are currently available. Players can download Project Cars 2Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle, and Toy Box Turbos, with the only game to grace April that can't be downloaded now being Fable: Anniversary. Now, May's games have been revealed.

This time around, players can download V-Rally 4, Warhammer 4,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, Sensible World of Soccer, and Overlord 2. V-Rally 4 is the Xbox One game that'll be available from May 1 - 31 immediately joined by the Sensible World of Soccer from May 1 - May 15. Warhammer 4,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will follow V-Rally from May 16 - June 15, with Overlord 2 being available from May 16 - May 31. An active Xbox Live subscription will be required to play these games.

Unfortunately, initial reactions seem to paint this month's offering in a negative light. The video has a couple hundred more dislikes than likes as of the time of this writing, and many of these games may have never even been heard of. For example, while V-Rally on Xbox One has a 67% on Metacritic, it has a 58% on PS4 and a 51% on Nintendo Switch. Warhammer 4,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is slightly better at 71%, while Overlord 2 sits at 75% for the Xbox 360. The highest rated game of the offering, Sensible World of Soccer, is an Xbox Live arcade game sitting at 81%.

How these games are received entirely remains to be seen, but it seems the first impression isn't a big one. Some may enjoy these games, but others are quick to point out how they pale in comparison to titles like Fable Anniversary. Nonetheless, players may just want to check out these games themselves.

Notably, PS Plus' free games for the month are set to be revealed tomorrow, but the program has dealt with serious leaks for the past couple of months. May appears to be no different, as the PS Plus games for May 2020 leaked yesterday, revealing the titles for this month to be Dying Light and Dark Souls Remastered. Whether that is legitimate or not is still up in the air, but May is right around the corner.

Xbox's Games with Gold for April 2020 are currently available. May 1 begins the new rotation.
