I am… the Dark Phoenix.” The aforementioned character was featured in the 2019 film, Dark Phoenix, which starred Sophie Turner in the titular role. Marvel seems to be really confident about the series and that’s why the production giant has already renewed the show for a second season. A few weeks ago, Lenore Zann, the voice of Rogue in X-Men: The Animated Series, shared that she's back in the recording studio for Season 2 of X-Men '97. Even though there is no official update about the series, one thing is clear that this series won’t be a part of the official time of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios seems really confident in X-Men '97, and it's thrilling to anticipate what the story holds in both seasons as it expands on the original series.
