John Morrison has been wrestling for decades, winning the third season of WWE's Tough Enough reality show and originally appearing on the main roster under the ring name Johnny Nitro. Morrison is best known for his time in WWE, but he has also appeared for other major wrestling companies over the years.Morrison's WWE career has had some significant highlights, like his tag team title reign with Joey Mercury as MNM and his various singles championship victories. Morrison's most recent run in WWE was from 2019 to 2021, culminating in a rivalry with his longtime partner The Miz. Dreamwave Wrestling tweeted out that Morrison was in a car accident this morning that ultimately caused him to have to get on a different flight than originally planned. Morrison was planned to be at a meet and greet prior to the show, but will now be signing autographs after the event to make it up to the fans. "Sorry for the inconvenience, and big shout out to John for being a true professional," Dreamwave said on Twitter. Further details about the car accident are not available at the time of this writing.

John Morrison will be fighting Christian Rose for the Dreamwave Championship at the event. It will be streaming live on Independent Wrestling.tv for anyone interested in watching. The show is scheduled to start at 6:00pm CT.

Morrison is best known for his decades-long career in the pro wrestling business, but he has also made appearances in movies and television. Morrison was a stunt performer for the DCEU movie Birds of Prey, he appeared in pro wrestling drama/comedy GLOW, and he voiced a character in the animated series The Guardians of Justice. Morrison has also appeared in many wrestling games, most recently WWE 2K22. Others may know him for his recent boxing victory against YouTuber Harley Morenstein, best known as the host of Epic Meal Time.
