WWE 2K26's Game Modes Confirmed
WWE 2K26's official website has been updated with a ton of new information about the upcoming game. Finally stepping away from last-generation consoles, this year's installment will see the return of all game modes that made their way into WWE 2K25, including story-heavy modes The Island and MyRise, card-based MyFaction mode, strategic MyGM Mode, and classic sandbox Universe mode, all of which have been given some interesting upgrades. 2K has also confirmed rumors of a CM Punk Showcase in WWE 2K26, letting players relive some of The Best in the World's greatest matches and rewrite history with some dream matches that might have happened had the Straight Edge Superstar stayed with WWE for his full career.
As for the other game modes, there are plenty of exciting changes afoot. MyGM mode is returning with more cross-brand PLEs and the option to lengthen seasons to as much as 50 weeks. While drafting wrestlers has long been part of MyGM, the WWE Draft is now also coming to Universe, which is also getting more promo types and improvements to its Money in the Bank cash-in mechanics. Players will also have more options in MyFaction, with the new addition of intergender teams and a system that allows boosting stats of wrestler cards based on their chemistry. Those looking for a story-driven experience can once again look forward to MyRise, in which player decisions are promised to have bigger consequences than before, and The Island, which is confirmed to be about three warring factions fighting for control after the fall of Roman Reigns.
